Installation and Commissioning Engineer Mid-Level (México)

About our client and Position overview: CASCO is a rail transit control system integrator, founded by China Railway Signal and Communication Corporation and Alstom. With over 30 years of experience since its establishment in 1986, CASCO has been a key player in the rail transit industry. As an Installation and Commissioning Engineer your mission will be to assist the Installation Manager in conducting on-site installation supervision, overseeing and managing construction units and be responsible for communicating and coordinating with external interfaces.

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico

Temporary Location: Torre Cavalia (near Country Club)
Future Office Location: Plaza del Sol

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, – Electronic Technology, Information Technology, Automation, or related fields.
• Language: Advanced English is a must.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a similar position.
• Candidates with 1+ years of experience in urban rail signaling, communications, or ISCS will be given preference.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety-related standards and a strong understanding of safety risk management.
• Desirable Skills:
• Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit, professionalism, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to handle pressure and willingness to take responsibility.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Your Activities

• Assist the Installation Manager in on-site installation supervision.
• Oversee and manage construction units under the Installation Manager's guidance.
• Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Support Signal and Communication (SIGTELCOM) and
• Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS) commissioning engineers during commissioning activities.
• Liaise with Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano (SITEUR), the – China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC Hong Kong), and other stakeholders regarding construction work applications.
• Assist the supervisor in conducting on-site witnessing and signing relevant reports.
• Participate in post-project maintenance activities.
